Celebrating Summer Art Prompts

Art by our granddaughter when she was 6 or 7

It’s been a hard couple of years. We’re ready to get out but are being met with canceled flights, the highest gas prices in decades, and shortages on every front. {sigh}

The good news is we have the ability to change our focus, find the bright side or make it ourselves.

Creativity is my retreat. It’s my release and my self-care. This summer, I’m inviting you to join me. I’ve created a list of prompts for you to show your creative side. The only rule is to use the prompt to spur your creativity. Photography (smart phones welcome!), writing, painting, drawing, stitching, cooking…..unleash your creativity.

You can use this list for your kids or grandkids, small group, or to discover your inner artist.

I challenge you to be bold and share your art on Instagram (please tag me @debby.mch), post on my Facebook page, or on your blog.

You don’t have to do them all. Choose what you like. Create your own. The idea is to focus on joy, fun, gratitude. To see possibility. And along the way, I hope you’ll discover your inner creativity.
