There are a lot of times when I think, oh, I need to share that writer, artist, teacher. I’ll read an article or find a new podcast or Instagram account and I want to share it. Only I haven’t figured out a good way to keep track of those to share with you which is kind of odd really, because I tend to be somewhat organized.
So, until I find a system to do this regularly, I’m using this day that only comes once every four years – leap day. It might be that long before I do this again.
In no particular order, here are some good things I want to share:
One of my favorite blog posts of the month was written by friend who often thinks she is “too much”. She’s an ordained minister, widowed mom of 5 who are growing into adults (two sets of twins!) and a beautiful writer. If you’ve ever felt you might be a little too much (what woman hasn’t?!) you’ll find yourself in good company with Lori’s post here.
You can never go wrong with Emily Freeman’s ‘Things I Learned’ blog posts or her podcast. Check out 10 Things I Learned This Winter.
I recently discovered this beautiful watercolor artist on Instagram. Check out @kari.alisa here.
Morgan Harper Nichols has become one of my favorite follows on Instagram. I’ve pinned many of her words on Pinterest and checked out her site. Here is an example of her work as shown on Pinterest. Most of the words she write have been inspired by stories people have shared with her. I find her words touching and inspiring. They are words of faith and hope. Check her out here on Pinterest.
If you have new finds you’d like to share, please let me know in the comments. Sharing is often how we learn and make new discoveries. I hope to never stop learning.
Happy Leap day!
